2015 Scholarship Applications Now Available!
The American Public Transportation Foundation (APTF) Scholarship Program is accepting applications. The mission of the APTF is to increase and retain the number of young professionals entering the public transportation field as a career in order to sustain growth and improvement throughout the industry. This year, the APTF is awarding two (2) new scholarships: The Fran Hooper Scholarship, to be awarded to an applicant studying rail engineering with the intent to pursue a career in public transportation, with preference given to a qualified female applicant; and in commemoration of the 25th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), a scholarship will be awarded to a student in an undergraduate or graduate academic discipline who expresses an interest in working to enhance accessible public transportation.
Scholarships are for the academic year beginning in the fall of 2015. All applications must be received by Mariah Stanley, Educational Services Coordinator, electronically at the APTF by June 15, 2015. See application for further details and instructions.
